HDPE geomembrane is mainly composed of the following substances:
1. High density polyethylene (about 97.5%) : It is a polymer polymerized from ethylene monomer and provides the basic physical and chemical properties of the geomembrane.
2. Carbon black (about 2.5%) : it can enhance the absorption capacity of geomembrane to ultraviolet light and reduce the aging effect of ultraviolet light on geomembrane.
