Project of Solid Waste Disposal and Associated Slag Storage Area for Superfine Fly Ash at Huadian Ningxia Lingwu Power Plant

Planned Construction Period: From October 2015 to September 2018 (implemented in three years).
Current Scale: The newly built project of comprehensive utilization of 3 million tons of superfine fly ash annually at Huadian Ningxia Lingwu Power Plant is invested and constructed by Ningxia Jinxiu Industrial Company of Hangzhou Jinjiang Group. The company is a national "double hundred backbone" enterprise for circular economy promoted by the National Development and Reform Commission and a key demonstration enterprise for comprehensive treatment of industrial solid waste in the autonomous region. The total investment of the project is 520 million yuan, covering an area of 185 acres. The main construction includes fly ash grinding station, research center, ash storage yard, etc., with an annual fly ash processing capacity of 3 million tons. After the completion of the project, it is expected to achieve an annual sales revenue of 300 million yuan, which can completely solve the fly ash generated by Huadian Ningxia Lingwu Power Plant every year, realizing the circular comprehensive utilization of industrial waste residue. The impervious system adopts filament composite geomembrane, which can prevent alkaline leachate from leaching out and polluting the surrounding environment.
For this project, our company's long-fiber composite geomembrane was adopted, which not only has the functions of sealing, impermeability, isolation, reinforcement, reinforcement, and protection, but also exhibits excellent corrosion resistance and aging resistance, suitable for the undulating site topography and long-term storage requirements of alkaline waste residue in this project.
The project has now been put into use, achieving good environmental and economic benefits. The product characteristics of long-fiber composite geomembrane include high strength, strong puncture resistance, acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, microbial resistance, and aging resistance.
It also possesses superior filtration and soil retention properties, serving the functions of isolation, drainage filtration, and protection.
