It also has excellent chemical stability, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, can adapt to complex chemical environment; High mechanical strength, good tensile performance, can resist a certain external impact, to ensure long-term stability in various working conditions.

Ø Why is HDPE geomembrane the most widely used in the field of environmental protection in Uganda?

In the field of environmental protection in Uganda, HDPE geomembrane is widely used. 1. Landfill seepage prevention reform

u Urbanization in Uganda has led to a dramatic increase in waste production. In the past, landfill sites lacked effective anti-seepage measures, and landfill leachate permeated wantonly.

u Since the installation of HDPE geomembrane, the situation has changed significantly. HDPE geomembrane, with its extremely low permeability, effectively blocks harmful substances in leachate. The content of pollutants such as heavy metals in groundwater has also been significantly reduced, ensuring the water safety of residents.

u In the laying process, usually lay a layer of geotextile as the foundation, and then the HDPE geomembrane is closely connected through professional welding technology to form a seamless impermeable layer, and finally covered with a layer of geotextile to further enhance the protective effect.

2. Reliable guarantee of sewage treatment facilities

In Jinja City's sewage treatment plant, there used to be frequent leakage of sewage due to cracks in the concrete pool. The leaking sewage not only causes waste of water resources, but also causes secondary pollution to the surrounding soil and water body, resulting in eutrophication of the surrounding water body and a large number of aquatic organisms die.
